Opinion - The VSKA is a touted 100% American made rifle. Almost all pieces on the VSKA are proprietary. The materials used to build the VSKA are not to AKM spec. There are multiple documented cases of this gun having out of battery detonations and other failures. This is due to the horrid casting done for the trunnion, which was designed to be a forged part.
