Deciphering Holosun's naming

Holosun's naming convention is a little tricky to start out but once you know the patterns it's pretty simple to decipher.

HE or HS

The HE or HS designation. HE designates that the optic is considered part of the Elite line meaning it will be covered under a longer warranty as well as have more durable internals and housings.

Numbers

Holosun naming makes extensive use of numbers to differentiate between body type, reticle layout, and if the optic is open or closed emitter.

The first digit in the number.
4 means it is dot only
5 means circle dot

The last 2 digits tell you the body type

For tube housing optics
03 is roughly aimpoint micro sized
15 will be a tad bit longer and come with a QD mount and lens covers
30 is about MRO sized
06 is 30mm Comp M2 sized
For open reflex style optics
07 is the round top original style (with the exception of the 507K)
08 is a more squared off version of the 07
09 is closed emitter
10 is an open emitter eotech sized optic
12 means it will be the same size as the 10 but the emitter will be closed off in the housing

Letter Suffix

There are 2 sets of suffixes on Holosun names. The first set tells you what the controls and features are while the second tells you the reticle color.

The first set tells you what controls are on there as well as the features and housing material
B means button only
C means push button with solar
G means push button and side mounted battery
R means rotary dial
K means it's extremely small

An additional T on the end will denote that the housing is titanium instead of aluminum and an M mean that it is 7075 instead of 6061

The second set tells you what reticle color the optic is
RD or no suffix means it is red
GR is green
GD is gold
