High riding Romanian Side Rail allows the mounting of AKM/AK74 style optic mounts, this mounting system is higher than others but some companies like RS Regulate make a low profile rail to accommodate for this.

Opinion - The M10 is almost a WASR with a new barrel setup. The fit and finish of the M10 (and RH-10) is on par with WASRs. Some guns have frustrating issues with furniture fitment, canted iron sights and can be magazine picky. However, being so related to a WASR, a good M10 (RH-10) will likely last many tens of thousands of rounds.

These are nice have many accessories available for them, being that they are mostly AKM pattern. The M10 sold by Lee Armory has some decent features that they ship with, but you can find all sorts of setups, including bare bone rifles with no furniture. They tend to ship with a flash hider instead of the sugar scoop "slant brake" seen on many AKM pattern guns in the US. THESE RIFLES CANNOT SUPPORT A BAYONET.

Find a decent deal, look it over, then buy one.

The other noteworthy model from Cugir is the RH-10. This is very nearly the exact same gun, the only thing different is the name and that the RH-10 comes through CAI instead of M+M. The RH-10 also comes with terrible WASR wood furniture instead of US Polymer.
