Opinion - The WBP Fox is a solid choice for a present day AK import. I would consider this over an SLR-107r currently, and is the other option alongside the ZPAP M70 for a good import AK. The Beryl rail system is great because it allows you to use whatever set of western optics your heart desires. There are 2 patterns of this rail available on Atlantic Firearms, one is 1913 and the other is a Weaver esq style.
+
Opinion - The ZPAP M85 is a Pistol configuration of the Military Yugoslavian M85. The previous version of this pistol was imported by Century Arms and predominantly featured an AR-15 style magazine well attached to the gun permanently in order to take AR mags because M85 mags weren't very commonly found. However, now that ZUSA is doing the importing, they also import the mags and have chosen to use the standard M85 magazine system.

These are mostly AKM pattern so they're easy to accessorize. The furniture that ships with this is good.

This is the only current 5.56 AK Pistol currently imported. They haven't been proven out definitely, but all of the previous Serbian M85 imports have not seen any glaring issues or things to be concerned about. It's also pre drilled in the back for a sling swivel, OR a 1913 rail piece for putting on a brace.

Pick out your furniture style, then Buy one.

This doesn't take AK47, AKM, AK74, AK74M, Galil or Chinese AK furniture. It's Yugoslav M85/M92 Spec, make sure whatever parts you buy are YUGO compatible.

There is a version of the Fox sold by Arms of America for a cheaper price but it is non-converted meaning it uses a thumbhole stock and can only take single stack mags. The version sold by Atlantic Firearms is pre-converted.
